DX News Bits: Jay-Z

    A representative for rapper Jay-Z has just announced that he will be canceling three U.S. tour dates due to an “unforeseen scheduling conflict.”

    The U.S. shows that were canceled include two cities in Texas and one in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All three of the shows were to take place this month.

    In February 2010, Jay-Z will embark on the second leg of his The Blueprint 3 tour stopping in a number of major cities including Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and New Orleans.

    In other Jay-Z news, Jay-Z has provided production for the Broadway play Fela! which will makes its Broadway debut at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre on Monday, November 23. 
     
    Along with Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jay-Z joined the producing team of Fela! which celebrates the life and music of Nigeria’s Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
