Beyonce is readying the I Am…Sasha Fierce tour in support of her new album by the same name [click to read]. The singer/film star recently revealed the dates and locations for the tour, which will see her embark on a month long tour through Europe next year.
Famed designer/director/photographer Theirry Mugler will be in charge of costume design and will also be a creative adviser for the tour. Beyonce will take the stage while being backed by an all female live band and promises to play renditions of classic songs as well as new material off her latest album.
Beyonce has also been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her portrayal of soul singer Etta James in the movie Cadillac Records. She, along with Bruce Springsteen and Miley Cyrus, join an impressive list of music-related nominees at the show, which is set to air January 11 on NBC.
