Los Angeles, CA

Drake has shown some love to his right-hand man and in-house OVO producer Noah “40” Shebib who has had some recent health struggles.

40 was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005 and has been living with the auto-immune disease that attacks his central nervous system ever since.

Before his show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles came to a close on Sunday (August 13), Drizzy made sure to lend some support and good energy to Shebib — who has been by his side since day one of his success — with the sold-out crowd.

“My brother hasn’t been feeling well. I want to send him some love from this whole building because I believe that energy is exchanged. My brother 40 he hasn’t been feeling well lately,” Drake said.

“I don’t know if you know much about 40 but 40 has been sick for a long time in his life. So what I want you to do is let’s make some noise, show some love to our brother 40. Of course, we love him.”

With 40 dealing with his health issues, this could explain why Drake has delayed his For All The Dogs album, which remains without a release date.

Drake has name-dropped 40 at times throughout the years on tracks, while Pusha T even made light of his disease on the scathing “The Story of Adidon” in 2018 during his war with the 6 God.

Shebib previously opened up about his musical journey to Rolling Stone in 2020 where he even downplayed his own legacy.

“I don’t like my music,” the 39-year-old claimed. “I don’t like any beats I’ve ever made. I don’t like any of my mixes. I got lucky. I won the lottery.

“So I often tell people, ‘The music business is something like the lottery. If you win it, fucking great, but lots of people don’t win.’ That’s why I can’t sit there and be like, ‘My talent is the reason I’m here.'”

Drake will hit the stage for a fourth and final Los Angeles show at the Kia Forum on Wednesday night (August 16) on his It’s All A Blur Tour. Hopefully, there’s a positive update when it comes to 40’s status.
