Drake is ready to get active again, though it’s not entirely clear what he’s referring to.

Taking to his Instagram Story with a blurred photo of a man in a tux, Drizzy wrote, “I’m about to get active again… Free Anita @stake.”

While he’s had a relatively low-key year following the highly-publicized war with Kendrick Lamar, it’s possible Drake is at least in part referring to heading outside once again for his forthcoming Anita Max Wynn tour in Australia.

If his recently released-then-deleted freestyle is any indication of things to come, fans may be getting a whole lot of Drake in 2025.

Drake did recently say he’s “loaded” for 2025, so it’s looking likely that a ton of new music is on the way, including his joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR.

“I’m loaded [for 2025]”, he said during his Christmas giveaway stream with Adin Ross. “Me and PARTY’s [album is] honestly one of the projects I’m most proud of in my life. I’ve always wanted to make a full album of that – of our sound, Toronto sound, R&B. So it’s just the best that both of us have to offer. Listening party has to be in the city. I think ’25 will be a shift. I think people wanna just get back to like just dropping their shit.”

In November of last year, PARTYNEXTDOOR assured fans the album would be finished when he wrapped up his Sorry I’m Outside Tour – of which the final show was on November 6 in London. It’s possible the album is complete now and its release imminent, but fans will have to continue to wait and see.

Drake first revealed the existence of the project during PND’s PARTYNEXTDOOR & Friends concert at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on August 2.

“I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake album will be right there for you,” he said.

Several days later, during a brief chat with personality Awaiz Punjani, PND revealed how many new songs are in process.
