Drake recently revealed he was taking a break from music, but it looks like he might be making a U-turn on that decision.

The Toronto rapper performed at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Tuesday night (February 13) as part of his and J. Cole‘s It’s All a Blur: Big As the What? Tour.

During the show, he teased returning to the studio and recording new material.

“You know, I said I was taking a break and all that shit, but I’m right back on the road again,” he told the crowd. “It’s hard for me to stay away from y’all — I really do love you.

“You never know, I might get bored and start making some new music on the road, see where it goes in the next little while.”

Drizzy also gave the St. Louis crowd credit for being “turnt up” and promised not to leave it too before he returns to the city.

Drake initially announced plans to take a break in October following the release of his album For All the Dogs, saying he wanted to focus on his health.

“I probably won’t make music for a little bit,” he said during an episode of his SiriusXM radio show Table for One.

“I’m going to be real with you: I need to focus on my health, first and foremost — and I’ll talk about that soon enough. Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life.”

He continued: “I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach so I need to focus on my health, and I need to get right, and I’m going to do that. I have a lot of other things that I would love to focus on.

“So I’ma lock the door in the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or so, maybe a little longer.”

Drake went back on his hiatus just a month later when he released six new songs as part of his deluxe album For All The Dogs: Scary Hours Edition.
