      1. He has not released an album in the last 6 years, too afraid of selling less than his enemies.

    1. Wow! No Rick Ross? Be sure to checkout thegrandreport(dot)com, they have some cool hip hop and viral videos in there!

      1. RICK RAWZZ IS TEH BIGGEST LOSER HE DOESNT WIN AWARDS UNLESS ITS FOR PERFECT ATTENDANCE GUARDING DRUG DEALERS IN PRISON.

RIKKY NEVER MISSED A DAY OF BOOTY DUTY

    2. I TOLD EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU…Feminem is not on this list because he officially classified his own album as pop. Now you know I’m correct and a real industry insider.

      1. You didn’t tell anyone shit. Eminem’s album is hip-hop. You’re a Young Money groupie, not an industry insider.

      1. You got that backwards. It’ll be Drake who’ll walk away with nothing while Jay Z wins everything he’s nominated for.

      2. are u kidding? drake put out the album of the year last year and had multiple hits while gay z had to cheat with that samsung shit and put out an hour’s worth of ear cancer. drake will win and gay z will not.

      3. You’re wrong again, stanley. Drake didn’t put out album of the year last year. Jay Z also has multiple hits under his belt and didn’t cheat. If anyone put out ear cancer, it’s Drake’s bitch ass album of R&B ballads. Jay Z will win while Drake won’t.

      4. Everyone agrees that Magna Carta was garbage. It was meant to be a pop album and it wasn’t even a good pop album. Anyone who thinks Jay should win anything this year is the epitome of a fuckboi. This isn’t a lifetime achievement award.

      5. No, they didn’t agree to that. MCHG is a hip-hop album, not pop. You’re the real fuckboy if you think Jay Z won’t win anything.

    3. Wtf drake and jayz havent done shit this year. They are a disgrace to the fucking game and theyre people?!?

    4. When I think about the realest rappers, Nas, BIG, and 50 come to mind. But you gotta put Drake up there.
People always make the case that he’s a “simp” or “soft”… But he tells the truth. He talks about what he knows, which is mostly love. But when he starts sending shots everybody calls him fake. If somebody was coming at you, would you just stand there?

Drake never claimed to be something he’s not and continues to be on top of the game. Realest rapper out.

      1. Damn awards lost relevance.,,,,ass kissing shit ,,might as well call them groupies awards..,Nas king of rap,

      1. Funny but he’s an actor, albeit a comedian. And arguably one of the top grossing actors too. So give him a break y’all.

      2. Kevin Hart is like Seth Rogen…plays the same character in every movie.

Funny as hell, plays well on camera, but still tho…

    5. If we going by sales then Bey, Jay and Nicki got this. No Yeezus? What’s going on here? I wish Davido the best!

    6. 3rdstreets:

Damn awards lost relevance.,,,,ass kissing shit ,,might as well call them groupies awards..,Nas king of rap,

    7. Don’t waste your time on award shows. Grammys, MTV, Oscars, BET, none of them.

They’ll always get it wrong. More times than not only to appeal to the masses. Popularity means more than creative substance sometimes and it’s frustrating. Most times I just award shows for performances (music) or to just if they’ll actually get it right (music and movies).

    8. Probably a between Kdot, Drizzy and Hov for the Best Male HipHop award…for the Females…Angel or Iggy maybe…but lets be honest…lol….you know Nicki got that..lol..we’ll see about the other awards tho…

      1. They would have nominated 50 Cent but they prefer to nominate people who have dropped albums in the last 6 years.

    9. Lil Wayne killed JAY Z on “Mr. Carter”
Lil Wayne killed JAY Z on “Swagga Like Us”
Drake killed JAY Z on “Lights Up”
Drake killed JAY Z on “Pound Cake / Paris Morton Music 2”
Drake killed JAY Z on “Know Bout Me”

As a close friend of Lil Wayne I can personally confirm that Lil Wayne is the best rapper officially. He is the best selling artist of the decade, professional skater, skilled guitarist, successful fashion designer, great actor, perfectionist musician, good mentor, perfect role model and lovely father. Lil Wayne is really multi-talented, his views and classic albums will make him live forever. Weezy is the GOAT. 5 LETTERS YMVMB. swag

    10. How in the fuck is Future nominated? He’s not hiphop/rap, dude sings more than anything. On top of that, he fucking sucks.

    11. Start working from home! 1. It they have to nominate a white artist, then they should’ve removed Macklemore from this list and add Eminem to it

    12. “And arguably one of the top grossing actors too”

Ummm one movie, and he shared billing with Cube. He’s funny, but a long way from being the next Eddie Murphy.

    13. And the winners are:

      Best Female R&B/Pop Artist
      Beyonc

      Best Male R&B/Pop Artist
      Pharrell Williams
