Drake has further planted his feet in the world of collectables by seeking the help of an ultra-successful businessman in finding a rare LeBron James basketball card in a new Netflix series.
On Friday (April 28), King Of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch premiered on Netflix featuring Ken Goldin, who owns Goldin Auctions. Goldin Auctions is a company that hunts down sports collectables, according to UPROXX.

In the first episode of the show called “Hail to the King,” both the 6 God, Goldin, and his team are trying to find a rare LeBron James “Triple Logoman” collectable card. The card itself features each NBA logo for every team Bron has won an NBA championship with and it’s the only one in existence.
Drake tests his luck by opening a box of sealed cards where he doesn’t know the contents, it’s like gambling for collectors. The 6 God pulls an Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway Logoman card valued at $50,000, along with cards featuring Larry Bird and Isaiah Thomas. While Drake does come across a super rare Micheal Jordan card, the LeBron card eludes him on the first pull.

When it comes to sports luck, some fans have taken to blaming Drake for their bad turns.
Recently, Pat Boyle of CBS Sports Radio blamed the artist for the Toronto Raptors losing to the Chicago Bulls in the play-in tournament, which meant they missed the opportunity to play in the 2023 NBA playoffs.
In his post-game commentary, Boyle claimed that it was Drizzy’s fault that Diar DeRozan — the daughter of Bulls guard DeMar DeRozan — let out a shriek each time one of the Raptors players went to take a free throw.
“That’s on Drake, really,” he said. “If you don’t have Drake and if that doesn’t work the niceties of offering her things to make her stop shrieking, you get physical. You get her out.”
He then doubled down on his claim with another tweet tagging the “Laugh Now, Cry Later” rapper in the video. “Explain yourself @Drake why weren’t you there last night? The Raptors loss is on you for not incentivizing Diar DeRozan to be quiet during free throws,” he wrote.
Last year, Drizzy entered the trading card game. At the time, Drake took to his Instagram story to show off his 14-box purchase claiming he’s “on a triple logoman hunt.”

ESPN baseball insider Kiley McDaniel provided some context on Drake’s previous purchase. He explained that each NBA Flawless box contains 10 basketball trading cards, so the 140 cards picked up have a value of over $200,000.
The Triple Logoman Drake was referencing was a new set in the trading card collection. In 2021, a Zion Williamson Logoman sold for $233,700.
