Drake has gone the extra mile for his partnership with Stake by creating an alter-ego inspired by his love of gambling.
During his Kick livestream this past weekend, during which he gave away a total of $1 million to fans, the Toronto superstar introduced “Anita Max Wynn,” with the alter-ego coming equipped with a white and baby blue trucker hat.

“Bros, I brought a hat with me [that] I need for the stream right here. This is my alter-ego, Anita Max Wynn,” he said while adopting a Spanish-sounding accent.
The name translates to “I need a max win” in gambling terms, and joins a growing list of monikers that includes Champagne Papi, the 6 God and The Boy.

Despite his generosity during the stream, some fans weren’t feeling Drake’s latest nickname.
“He will never beat the zesty allegations,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while another said: “Every day it’s harder to like him.”
Drake also made headlines during the Stake livestream, which was filmed at his favorite vacation spot of Turks and Caicos, for seemingly taking a shot at Metro Boomin.
During the broadcast, the OVO hitmaker thanked his fans for their continued support in 2023, before changing his tune and addressing his haters.

“To the rest of you — the non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet and deleters — you guys make me sick to my stomach, fam,” he said, before moving closer to the camera. “Look at my eyes — you guys wanna do something? That’s what I thought.”
Metro, who many fans assumed was Drake’s target, appeared to respond on X on Monday (December 18) by posting the viral “Whoa Calm Down Jamal, Don’t Pull Out the 9” video.

The skit is about an argument between a group of Black people and racist white people (played by Black actors) on a basketball court. One of the “white” people says to one of the Black people: “Whoa calm down Jamal, don’t pull out the 9,” referring to a 9mm gun.
The apparent feud between the “Knife Talk” collaborators began earlier this month when Metro threw shade at the success of Drake’s Her Loss album with 21 Savage on social media.
In response to a social media post about Metro’s Heroes & Villains album accumulating more streams than Her Loss, the producer wrote: “Yet Her Loss keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V. Proof that award shows are just politics and not for me.”
“Idc about awards honestly, the true award and REWARD is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to people’s everyday lives,” he added.

Drake seemingly fired back on his Instagram Stories not long after, quoting lyrics from JAY-Z‘s “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)”: “Damn, little mans, I’m just tryin’ to do me/ If the record’s two mil, I’m just tryin’ to move three.”
He then appeared to cut ties even further by unfollowing Metro on Instagram.
