DOOM & Ghostface Killah’s DOOMSTARKS LP Underway, Due “Sometime Very Soon”

Following yesterday’s announcement that a cassette tape and Serato 12-inch of DOOMSTARKS’ “Victory Laps” (Madvillainz Remix) will be released, more details have emerged on the project. Nature Sounds’ Devin Horwitz spoke with XXLMag.com about the long-awaited LP, explaining that DOOM and Ghostface Killah are intent on putting out the album.

“The guys regrouped just this year and really started fine tuning and really trying to hone it in to make this thing a reality,” he said. “I think just recently it really clicked for both of them what this project could be and how important it was really for the fans.”

The untitled album, which was previously rumored to be called Swift & Changeable, is described as a collaborative effort. DOOM is overseeing the project in terms of production and assembly, but Ghost will appear on almost all of the tracks, save for one or two. Though there’s no release date set in stone, the album will be released “sometime very soon.”

    1. YES YES YES!!! This will put any other duo to shame be it Bad Meets Evil, Kanye/Jigga, Wayne/Drake or anyone else, not saying those dudes ain’t got quality but DOOM and Ghost? That’s near perfection.

      1. fucking co-sign. of the ones you mentioned, this is the only collab album im actually looking forward to….and i didnt even know about this release until this week

      2. Co-sign as well. If this Doom/Ghost album materializes, it will put all these wannabe collabo albums to shame. Def will be checking for this.

    2. Getting my hopes up again on this….. Sniper Elite/Murder Goons, Angels, Victory Laps all BANG!!

    3. Will it be released through iTunes as a digital single?? Because unfortunately I don’t own any analog audio reproduction equiptment such as cassette or vinyl decks.
