Doja Cat, Queen Latifah and Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are among the names announced as performers at the upcoming 2025 Oscars.
A press release on Wednesday (February 26) also confirmed LISA of Blackpink and RAYE will hit the stage, along with a “special appearance” by the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

More talent will be announced leading up to the Conan O’Brien-hosted show, which takes place on Sunday (March 2) at 7 pm ET. Fans can tune in live on ABC and Hulu.
Doja Cat’s performance may usher in the rollout to her new album, which she recently revealed in a post to X is titled Vie and is “coming soon.”

Around her birthday in October, the “Say So” rapper previewed some of the album at an intimate Airbnb fan experience which attendees described “as a blend of Pop and R&B,” according to Genius.
The album will follow 2023’s Scarlet, which featured the hit singles “Paint The Town Red” and “Agora Hills.” A deluxe edition titled Scarlet 2 CLAUDE was released seven months later in April 2024.

In Queen Latifah news, she and Missy Elliott recently added a prestigious honor to their names after receiving a National Medal of Arts from President Joe Biden.
In October, the then-president presented the 2022 and 2023 recipients of the National Medal of Arts at a private ceremony at the White House, with the rap pioneers being honored alongside the likes of Spike Lee, Steven Spielberg and Eva Longoria.

The National Medal of Arts is “the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the federal government,” according to the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
“It is awarded by the president of the United States to individuals or groups who are deserving of special recognition by reason of their outstanding contributions to the excellence, growth, support, and availability of the arts in the United States.”
Missy celebrated the achievement on X by posting numerous photos and videos from the event, including clips of her and Latifah hanging out together at the White House.
“I am HUMBLY GRATEFUL! Crying Tears of JOY! Thinking of the days I wasn’t so strong but through FAITH & PRAYER I kept going..I’m SO THANKFUL @POTUS,” she wrote. “[And] CONGRATULATIONS to the other amazing ppl who was blessed with this honor.”
