Doja Cat showed off both her professionalism and her comedy chops when her mic went out amid a recent performance.
Doja’s Scarlet Tour hit her hometown of Los Angeles on Thursday night (November 2), and while most of it went off without a hitch, there was a bit of a hiccup with her mic while she performed her hit single “Kiss Me More.”

Instead of letting it get the best of her, though, the rapper continued on with some hilarious reactions before dancing it off – and her fans loved it.
“Her reaction to her mic giving out….just makes me love her more bruh,” one fan wrote in response to the video. “A true Libra reaction.”

“I’m sure most people weren’t even listening to her sing, they were there more to see he perform! She’s very talented! And crazy,” a second person wrote, while another added: “The way shes so unserious lmao i love her.”

The Scarlet Tour is Doja Cat’s first-ever arena trek, and both Doechii and Ice Spice are along for the ride. The 24-date tour kicked off earlier this week on the West Coast and will make its way through major cities such as Denver, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Brooklyn and more before wrapping up in Chicago on December 13.
The “Paint The Town Red” hitmaker celebrated her 28th birthday just before hitting the road, and was spotted attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency to kick off her celebrations.
In keeping with the concert series’ tradition of singing to members of the audience, Usher approached his peer with an early birthday present and performed 2010’s “There Goes My Baby” right in front of her.
Doja Cat also recently made her Hot Ones debut and got into a variety of topics – including her knowledge of all episodes of the popular show.

“I been watching this. I’m addicted to the internet,” she affirmed. “There’s so many things [in my weirdest YouTube rabbit holes]. I was on a Steve Wilkos bender. YouTube poop has a lot of interesting… Do you know what YouTube poop is? It’s a sub genre of YouTube comedy. I like it most when it’s a talk show and you go in and edit it to make it sound like someone’s saying something that’s super crass and crazy.”
She continued: “There’s some Dr. Phil YouTube poops out that are some of the best ones. And I keep going back to them. But it’s a very deep rabbit hole and there’s a lot of bad ones that aren’t funny at all.”
