Doja Cat has slammed her absentee father and claimed she is going to use him as inspiration for her next project.
The Scarlet rapper hit out at her father, South African dancer Dumisani Dlamini, on Instagram on Monday (May 27).

In a since-edited post, Doja wrote: “Dad, lemme know when/if you need me to re-up your makeup cabinet cuz you a bitch.”
She later edited the caption to: “I’m gonna turn you into my next project and y0u’re gonna have to listen to it for the rest of your god forsaken life.”

The rapper has since edited it again to say: “jk love you i was mad.”
Doja also vented her frustration at her father in the comments section of the post, where she responded to one fan and wrote: “Go give the deadbeat a kiss on the lips for me.”
In response to another user who called her post “disrespectful,” she said: “Gave me a lazy eye and dipped.”
Doja Cat previously admitted that she has never met her biological father, telling Radio One D.C.: “He’s an incredible dancer and a great actor. But yeah, I don’t know him very well.”
She also said in a Rolling Stone interview: “I felt confused, a little bit. It’s a little strange to see everybody else with their dad, and you didn’t even really have one.”

Dlamini has praised his famous daughter, telling GQ South Africa last year: “I’m so proud of her for what she has achieved. I’m not surprised, because it’s in the blood.”
This isn’t the first time that Doja Cat’s family drama has played out in the public eye.
Earlier this year, the rapper’s mother claimed her son had been violent towards her and Doja, claims he denied.
In a court filing for a restraining order, the rapper’s mother Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer claimed that Doja needed protection from her brother, Raman, after an assault left her with cuts and bruises.

She also said Raman has “verbally assaulted her in a very degrading and demeaning manor” and had left the Grammy-winner feeling “unsafe and traumatized.”
Sawyer further claimed that her son once stole from Doja and damaged some of her belongings.

According to Sawyer, Raman had also been violent towards herself on “several” occasions over the last year and even once threatened to kill her.
