Swizz Beatz has produced hit songs for every member of the Ruff Ryder camp, but it is one song in particular that is possibly going to bring him into court.
The song ‘Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone” by DMX for the Exit Wounds soundtrack is now said to be the property of another New York rapper by the name of Mr. D. Original. Mr. D. Original claims he gave Swizz Beatz a demo tape with his version of the song “Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone” over two years ago and had not heard anything about it being used by X.
“My mother died in the hospital due to hospital negligence and everyone including the FDA was involved at the time. When my mom passed away, I wrote “Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone” as a memorial to her. The song was real deep with a universal appeal, and I knew that it was destined to be a hit record. Millions of people can relate to a family member dying in the hospital”. Said D. Original.
D Orignial who is preparing to file a lawsuit against both Swizz Beatz and DMX, notice six months after he gave Swizz his ten song demo CD, DMX released his alleged copy written song to the public. No word yet on a response from either DMX or Swizz Beatz.
