DMX Misses Court Again, Foxy in Trouble

    It’s only been a few
months since he’s missed court last time, but DMX (Earl Simmons) has
found yet another reason to miss court.  Yesterday, the rapper was to
appear before a White Plains, NY judge on charges of driving with a suspended
license that occurred last month.  According to reports, the Westchester
DA’s office has asked the judge to issue a warrant for his arrest.  The
judge subsequently denied the request.  The charge comes after the rapper
was pulled over for running a red light, which led them to discover his license
was suspended.  After missing two previous court dates, DMX assured
the NY judge that he would show up for his March 6th pre-trial hearing that was
based on another driving related charge.

In Foxy Brown related news, prosecutors in Florida filed battery and
resisting arrest charges against the artist. The charges are based on the
February 15th incident in Queen Beauty Supply in FL when the owner claimed Brown
squirted hair gel at him and then attempted to push him and knock over his
display shelves.  A police officer who responded to the owner, Hayssam
    Ghoneim’s
call, told reporters that he had to employ a “take down
maneuver” on the female rapper, after which he took her into
custody.  During a press conference on February 26th, she denied
allegations and said that the Broward County Police were guilty of racial
profiling and police brutality.  On the first of March, Foxy pleaded
guilty to violating her probation by traveling to Florida without permission
and was ordered to continue her six month probation from an earlier assault
    charge.
