San Francisco, California-based DJ QBert has been a revolutionary deejay, taking the art-form to new mediums like film and online. The co-founder of Invisibl Skratch Piklz is celebrating what’s billed as his 25th anniversary in Hip Hop. To honor this, When Art Imitates Life has made a limited edition canvas art piece called “The Disktroyer.”
Pictured above, the print is limited at 250, and features over 50 hidden elements within the piece. “The Disktroyer” is inspired the album artwork from Jimi Hendrix Experience’s 1967 Axis: Bold as Love.
The prints are available at QBertArt.com.

25 years is a long time to hold it down. Congrats DJ QBert. With a name like that most likely we’re from the same generation. The symbolicness is ill.
