DJ Khaled has incited pandemonium with the opening of his one-of-a-kind concept storefront in Miami, We The Best × SNIPES.
On Thursday (August 3), the producer took to Instagram to express his gratitude for those who showed up in support — while flaunting the massive space chock full of athleisurewear, like kicks, tees and much more.

In another post, the GOD DID recording artist can be seen working the cashier booth, servicing customers as well as holding a rather large pair of golden scissors used to cut the celebratory ribbon, on opening day.
“ITS SATURDAY LETS GO SHOPPING [shopping cart emoji] Swipe for moments wit love !,” he captioned the post, complete with the store’s hours and address.
Earlier this week, ahead of the opening Khaled along with SNIPES CEO Sven Voth and SNIPES USA President Jim Bojko, caught up with PEOPLE when they gushed about seeing their vision come to life.
According to Voth, the idea for the Miami superstore “popped up quite immediately” after Khaled began working with the brand, following a 2019 SNIPES campaign. Things went so swimmingly that Khaled was recruited as Chief Creative Officer.

“I’m taking everything so serious,” the producer told the outlet. “This is very special [and] unique, but what I love about it is it’s something that the city’s going to love — the young world’s going to love.”
Equipped with a studio space, the 47-year-old touched on the retailer’s versatility. “The way I make music — I’m in the middle of working on new music as we speak — I bring a set-up everywhere I go,” said Khaled. “It’s great to have a studio set up there in case I have to do some drops or record stuff for my album or do a feature or just listen back to new stuff I’m working on.”
“I think it’s unique and special,” he continued. “I think it’s never been done before.”
Further, Khaled expressed his intentions for the We the Best x SNIPES store to be more than a community hub, retail space, and workspace, but “a landmark;” comparing it to landmark sites in cities like the Big Apple and the City of Love.
“If I go to New York, I go to Times Square,” said Khaled. “If you go to Paris, you have to go to the Eiffel Tower. This is a monumental location, and besides it being an incredible store to shop in, it’s somewhere you’re going to want to take a picture even if you don’t want to walk in.”
