DJ Khaled is starting off the new year on a great foot, as he just received a whopping 17 new certifications from the RIAA for various songs and albums.
Just one month after receiving his first-ever Diamond plaque for his 2017 single “I’m the One” with Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne, Khaled has now received the following:

An 8x Platinum certification for “Wild Thoughts” with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, 5x Platinum certifications for “I’m On One” with Drake, Rick Ross and Wayne and “EVERY I CHANCE I GET” with Lil Baby and Lil Durk, 4x Platinum certifications for “Do You Mind” with Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future and Rick Ross, “For Free” with Drake and “POPSTAR” with Drake, a 3x Platinum certification for “No Brainer” with Justin Bieber, Quavo and Chance the Rapper, a 2x Platinum certification for “Wish Wish” with Cardi B and 21 Savage and Platinum certifications for “Take It To The Head” with Chris Brown, Ross, Nicki and Wayne and “No New Friends” with Drake, Ross and Wayne.
Then he received Gold certifications for “Beautiful” with Future and SZA, “LET IT GO” with Justin Bieber and 21 Savage, “SORRY NOT SORRY” with Nas, JAY-Z and James Fauntleroy, “Welcome To My Hood” with Rick Ross, Plies, Wayne and T Pain, “I Wish You Would” with Kanye West and Rick Ross, “I Wanna Be With You” with Nicki, Future and Rick Ross and finally his 2011 album We The Best Forever.

Reacting to the news on Instagram, Khaled wrote: “thank you for over 20 years of riding with me, supporting @wethebest and spreading LOVE! 75 MILLION RECORDS SOLD ! And counting! Bless up @riaa_awards and all my partners! #FANLUV I been enjoying FAMILY TIME and that’s ALL THE TIME but I also been cooking! Just wait til I show you…ima just say this – GET YOUR POPCORN.”
Back in May, DJ Khaled got another major prize: he was honored with his own day in Miami for his contributions to music and the local community.
The We The Best mogul posted a video on Instagram on May 8 of himself accepting the award and said: “Thank you to North Miami Beach and all miami for this incredible honor!

“May 8th is officially DJ Khaled Day! Thank you 305! I’m inspired and I hope to inspire the next generation! Love! @wethebestfoundation @wethebest. Love is the only way.”
While accepting the award on stage, Khaled added: “This is very beautiful and means a lot to me and my family. Big ups to all the mothers and fathers in the building today. This makes me inspired to keep going.”
He added: “We’re locked and loaded with We The Best Foundation to give back to our people, our community and to also inspire the young world to be on this stage so they can have their day and their honor.”
The proclamation said that: “DJ Khaled, for over two decades, has embodied the pinnacle of musical excellence, entrepreneurial success and profound cultural influence.”

The honor also praised his work in the community: “DJ Khaled’s relentless advocacy has extended to global health and education initiatives fight against Covid-19 highlighted by his role as the first social media ambassador for Project Red and the national spokesperson for Get Schooled.”
