Last week, HipHopDX premiered three videos, directed by B+, chronicling the Distant Relatives’ recent trip to Jamaica. With segments looking at Nas and Damian Marley visiting Bob Marley Hope Road estate, a trip to Tuff Gong Studios to make a dubplate, and a journey to Kingston’s Trenchtown to shoot a video, the group is still actively reaching fans from last year’s Distant Relatives album.
In reaching new fans, the Distant Relatives reached to DJ Nu-Mark, a respected deejay/producer of Jurassic 5 fame, to remix “Nah Mean.” The group contacted HipHopDX to make the song available for free download through their widget, below:
