50 Cent has continued to mock Diddy‘s mounting legal troubles after it was reported that Cassie is cooperating with the federal investigation into the Bad Boy boss.

According to TMZ, Cassie, who sued Diddy for rape, sexual assault and sex trafficking last year, is assisting law enforcement and among the witnesses involved in the case.

The outlet reports that the singer, who dated Puffy for around a decade until 2018, has been working with authorities for several weeks, long before the mogul’s homes were raided by Homeland Security as part of an investigation into sex trafficking.

It is also believed that other people have been cooperating with the investigation, with NBC News previously reporting that three women and one man had been interviewed by the feds.

50 Cent, who has been relentlessly taunting Diddy over his legal issues, took the news as another opportunity to mock his longtime rival.

Alongside a screenshot of a news report about Cassie’s cooperation, 50 wrote: “Oh yeah, it’s not looking good for the Diddler. [grinning face emoji] LOL.”

Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy, which was filed in November, kickstarted the wave of sexual assault allegations against the record executive.

Although Diddy quickly settled his lawsuit with Cassie, he has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and rejected the claims made against him in the multiple lawsuits.

After the recent raids on his Los Angeles and Miami properties, Puffy, through his attorney, again maintained his innocence while decrying the federal intervention as “a witch hunt based on meritless accusations.”

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” the statement said.

“Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”

It continued: “This unprecedented ambush – paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.

“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
