Diddy has once again made an attempt to be freed from jail on bail amid major changes to his legal team.
The Bad Boy Records founder has spent around two weeks at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest on September 16 on multiple charges including sex trafficking and racketeering.

Diddy has already been denied bail twice but has made a third attempt in a new filing from his beefed-up defense team.
The mogul has hired Alexandra Shapiro (no relation to famed defense attorney Robert Shapiro) and Anthony Ricco, who join his existing lawyer Marc Agnifilo.

Shapiro is considered one of the nation’s leading appellate lawyers while Ricco has been involved in numerous high-profile cases such as the World Trade Centre bombing.
Diddy has so far been denied bail because prosecutors proved he is a “danger” and his proposed $50 million bail package was “insufficient even on risk of flight,” ruled Judge Andrew L. Carter, Jr.

The prosecution claimed that the record executive had repeatedly reached out to alleged victims and witnesses, in at least one case attempting to convince the victim that their sexual encounters had been consensual.
They also clamed that his hefty bail package did not contain enough measures to prevent potential obstruction of witnesses.

Diddy had proposed hiring a private investigative firm to monitor his home and argued that he had already entered rehab for drug issues.
He had also agreed to no non-family female visitors and weekly drug testing.
The judge told Puffy before refusing him bail: “I don’t know that I think you can trust yourself, and I don’t believe that counsel has the ability to control you, given the very significant concerns I have, particularly because of substance abuse and what seem like anger issues.”
Drugs were found in Diddy’s possession when he was arrested at a hotel in New York.

The 54-year-old could face additional charges as a grand jury continues to hear testimony from potential witnesses.
Jurors have so far heard from two male sex workers since Diddy’s arrest, with both claiming to have been contacted by the mogul to participate in his alleged “freak off” parties.

Questions to the sex workers have focused on how they were paid, if they crossed state and international borders and the presence of drugs.
