Diddy Accused Of Armed Kidnapping In Plot To Blow Up Kid Cudi’s Car

Diddy allegedly carried out an armed kidnapping in his plot to blow up Kid Cudi‘s car after discovering he was dating his ex-girlfriend Cassie.

The embattled Bad Boy boss was charged in New York with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution on Tuesday (September 17), with legal documents uncovering more details about his alleged crimes.

In a 16-page letter arguing why Diddy should remain in jail without bail until the trial begins (which the judge agreed with), federal prosucutors claim that the Hip Hop mogul and an associate once held a victim at gunpoint while breaking into Cudi’s home.

“In the early morning hours of December 22, 2011, the defendant [Diddy] and a co-conspirator kidnapped an individual at gunpoint to facilitate breaking into and entering the residence of another (‘Individual-1’),” it reads. “Multiple witnesses would testify at trial to the events surrounding the kidnapping and break-in, the latter of which is corroborated by police reports and other records.”

The letter goes on to detail the arson: “Approximately two weeks later, the defendant’s co-conspirators set fire to Individual-1’s vehicle by slicing open the car’s covertible top and dropping a Molotov cocktail inside the interior. Police and fire department records extensively document the arson and conclude that the fire was intentionally set.”

Prosecutors add that multiple witnesses are willing to testify in court that Diddy “bragg[ed] about his role” in destroying the car.

Although Kid Cudi isn’t mentioned by name in the document, nor the actual indictment, the details line up with allegations in the sexual assault lawsuit Cassie filed in November 2023, which set in motion the case against Diddy.

In her suit, which was quickly settled, the R&B singer claimed that she “had a brief relationship” with Cudi during a “rough patch” in her decade-long relationship with Puffy (real name Sean Combs).

The record executive allegedly became “enraged” after learning about their fling and lunged at Cassie with a corkscrew between his fingers. She claimed that he later plotted to blow up Cudi’s car.

“In February 2012, during Paris Fashion Week, Mr. Combs told Ms. Ventura [Cassie] that he was going to blow up Kid Cudi’s car, and that he wanted to ensure that Kid Cudi was home with his friends when it happened,” the lawsuit reads. “Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.”

A spokesperson for the “Day ‘N’ Nite” rapper confirmed Cassie’s account to The New York Times after the lawsuit was filed, saying: “This is all true.”

The alleged arson is one of a number of racketeering violations cited in the indictment against Diddy, which accuses him of abusing women — emotionally, verbally, physically and sexually — for a over a decade while running a criminal enterpise that helped him carry out and conceal his misconduct.

At the heart of the case are the mogul’s alleged “freak offs,” which are described as “elaborate and produced sex performances that [Diddy] arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded.”

He is accused of coercing women to participate in these freak offs using drugs, violence, threats and blackmail, as well as hiring and transporting male sex workers across state lines and internationally to have sex with the women.

It’s revealed in the indictment that federal agents seized various pieces of evidence of these freak offs during the raids on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes in March, including footage of said sexual performances and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.

The record executive has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison if convicted.

    1. The more the stories of Puffy comes out, the wilder it seems. But I believe it though. Someone’s been a “Bad Boy” for real. I wish the former Bad Boy Records artists who faded into oblivion like 112 and Total would tell their experiences with dude.

    2. Sean really thought he was a movie villain. This one dude was the beginning of the end for hip hop. All the shit that’s in the mainstream today, the moistness, the suckers being celebrated instead of shunned, money being revered over everything traces back to this piece of shit. Hope he gets life.

      1. Thankfully, Jay Z helped to ensure hiphop would maintain respect after biggie unfortunately died and Dr dre and diddy both dragged hiphop down (they dont even write their own songs). Later on, drake and ymcmb would help lift hiphop to new heights despite efforts from kendrick and eminem to drag it back down.

      2. @Silent_Partner Diddy, Suge, Master P, and Jermaine Dupri are the Four Horsemen of Hip Hop’s demise. It went to absolute hell when they showed up. I’ll never stop saying so.

      1. @C I don’t have issues with Lil Kim’s feline look. It comes in handy for some role-playing fun. Besides the facade Lil Kim is actually a really nice person in real life

    3. Let’s forget the vote or die crap that black folk fell for with Obama. I remember wondering why an entertainer was giving political advice. Years later celebs are the most trusted sources of info for alot of people unfortunately

    4. Nothing wrong with this, should’ve burned down cudi whole house
