Diddy‘s alleged drug mule has been arrested at a Miami-area airport for possession of marijuana and cocaine, just as a federal investigation into the alleged dealings of the embattled Bad Boy mogul is picking up steam.

Rolling Stone reported that Brendan Paul was taken into custody at 4:30 p.m. ET on Monday (March 25). Paul was picked up at Opa-Loka Airport by the Miami-Dade Police, who were working in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security, according to an affidavit.

A family member of Paul’s confirmed to the outlet that he had been arrested. It is unclear whether the arrest has any relation to Diddy.

Paul was named as a “mule” in a lawsuit filed by producer Lil Rod against Diddy last month. The producer alleged that Paul had the role of “acquir[ing] and distribut[ing]…drugs and guns” for Diddy.

A few hours after Paul’s arrest, Diddy was stopped by federal authorities at an airport in Miami, not long after Homeland Security raided two of his homes across the United States.

The embattled Bad Boy Records founder’s whereabouts are currently unknown, although his private jet was tracked online to the Caribbean island of Antigua.

Shortly after federal agents raided his properties in Los Angeles and Miami, Diddy (real name Sean Combs) was spotted by TMZ pacing outside of Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport on Monday afternoon (March 26).

According to their sources, Puffy was outside a customs office and was waiting to be joined by other people, who were also being questioned by federal officials.

Information is still murky, but TMZ claims Diddy boarded a separate private jet when Homeland Security arrived. He is not thought to be currently under arrest or on the run.

Properties owned by Diddy were raided Monday by Homeland Security as part of an ongoing investigation into the music mogul, who has been accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking, among other things.
