Diddy has admitted that he is nervous as his sex trafficking begins with jury selection in New York.
Appearing in front of the judge yesterday (May 5), Diddy said: “I’m sorry your honor, I’m a little nervous today.”
The Bad Boy Records founder made the admission around 90 minutes into the selection process as he requested a brief break to go to the bathroom.
The judge initially refused Diddy’s request but quickly changed his mind and allowed the record executive to go to the toilet.

The jury selection process has seen potential jurors questioned about if they are aware of some of the high profile people involved in the case such as Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’Day.
Potential jurors have also been asked if they recognize celebrity names such as Kanye West, Michael B. Jordan and Mike Myers.
During the process, Diddy could be seen communicating with his attorneys about whether they should dismiss certain jurors or not.
Jury selection for the highly-publicized case is expected to last around a week with opening statements tentatively scheduled for May 12.

It is then thought that the actual trial will last for between eight to ten weeks.
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all counts and has repeatedly insisted that all sexual activity was consensual.
If found guilty, he faces the prospect of decades in prison.

Diddy also turned down a plea deal from the government in favor of taking his case to trial.
During a recent hearing, Diddy was asked by the judge if he had rejected a plea deal from prosecutors with the rapper and producer replying: “Yes, I did.”
He also accepted that the decision could lead to a lengthier prison sentence if he was found guilty by the jury. It was not revealed what the terms of the offer were.
Diddy has claimed that he simply goes by the swinger lifestyle as he defends himself from sex trafficking accusations.
