Deffinition Discusses Compliment Rap Battles

    Pat Stay and Rone recently participated in a compliment battle, a battle format shaped in 2011. 

    BattleRap.com spoke with Deffinition, who said there is a reason people would be drawn to compliment battles.

    “The appeal of a compliment battle is that it is the polar opposite of a standard battle. It’s also something people don’t expect to see when watching a rap battle,” he says, according to BattleRap.com. “I’ve always been one to try new things so [I] thought, ‘Fuck it! Why not do the complete opposite to what people expect?’”
