Death Row Records Opens Online Store, New Merchandise

Since being acquired by Toronto, Canada’s WIDE Awake Entertainment, legendary Rap label Death Row Records has been re-energized. Unreleased catalog albums from Snoop Doggy Dogg, Crooked I, Danny Boy and Kurupt have hit record store shelves, while the company’s even unloaded some of the coveted Dr. Dre material that Chronic enthusiasts were never able to previously hear.

With more music on the horizon, WIDE Awake is bringing back merchandise from one of the first labels to really brand themselves as a logo on fan t-shirts and hats. Today, Death Row unveiled their new merchandise store here at their website. T-Shirts, hoodies, hats and even women’s underwear is now available sporting the 19 year-old logo popularized by Dr. Dre, Snoop, Tha Dogg Pound and Tupac Shakur.

Death Row’s last release was Hood Star by Crooked I.

Hip Hop needs to be taken back to the streets because there ain’t no feeling in it anymore. Artists just wake up and make songs about anything and give the names like Bra, Bra in shit. Dont think Im just talking Im tryin to change this shit. Help me and check out some artists that have lyrical ability and rap with meaning at http://www.soundclick.com/philadefentertainmentllc.The time has come “Its the takeover the breaks over all these rap cats at the top lame, the game need a makeover, Russell Simmons enlightned me the real culprit is Jay Hova.

    3. Suge is broke yet the new owners of Death Row are making Suge Knight look like an absolute fool by doing this…I wonder how Suge is feeling about this…He can’t help but see this going down right in front of him.

    4. Suge is broke yet the new owners of Death Row are making Suge Knight look like an absolute fool by doing this…I wonder how Suge is feeling about this…He can’t help but see this going down right in front of him…Sorry but P.Diddy would never let something like this happen to Bad Boy…He would never allow Bad Boy to be bought like Death Row was…Diddy would probably hang himself if this did happen to Bad Boy…Goes to show you what kind of business man Suge truly was…

      1. All yall idiots is considered about is what yall read in the Hip Hop Cash Kings and value shit on money. Listen value shit on influence, the influence Death Row made was iconic no rap record label are black record label ever did that.
Man it was a time Death Row was breaking album sales records, they were on the evening news. That shit was historic, they was talking about shit in the hood. They would show up to white award shows loc up hood la niggaz 20 deep, riding in limos and shit in the 90s. When no niggaz had money. If it wasnt for Suge and Death Row these rappers wouldnt be in the positions that they end now. Death Row created that edge to rap, that swagg, that is gone and died for ever.

      2. Puffy dont care about his record label, name one artist who has furthered there career after fucking with him.
        Biggie: Dead
        Craig Mack:
        Lil Kim:
        Jadakis:
        Black Rob:
        Lox:
        Who…………….
Has increase there stock after fucking with Puffy
        Now look at Suge Knight
        Snoop: Multi media mogul
Dr Dre: Slim Shady, 50 Cent, Game
        Please

    5. Brought up a great point. In the end, Bad Boy did beat Death Row. Corny ass Puffy defeated big Suge and can’t nobody say anything different. Puffy still has his Bad Boy, while Suge doesn’t have his Death Row. Sad but true. I do think this canada wideawake team has done a stand up job with the catalog and the new releases. Props to them and the in-house savvy pr team they got keeping them out there in public.

      1. Do U know what Death Row represent
It rep LA crips and bloods coming together getting paid. It provided avenues for aspire businessmen to make it in the business world
Bad Boy is a clone of Death Row, made by a middle class college educated black person to make money off sterotype black people.
Do u still listen to Craig Mack
What happen to Black Rob, the Lox, Puff Daddy and the Family
Everybody hes touch stock has fallen

    6. The thing is Suge probably wouldn’t be broke right now if he didn’t sit on all these records? if the new death row can release shit, Suge could have done it when the material was new and fresh. The power got to his fuckin head. Still, I wanna hear unreleased pac music, if there is any left.

      1. he couldnt release them he was dealing with interscope telling him what records he could release.
Then Deloros Tucker talking about explict content
Plus Harry O wanted his money
That nigga had 99 problems during that time
Plus Dr. Dre was scared to come to the studios
And Snoop wasnt making quality content look at DoggFather
Yall younger people dont know shit
        Plus his friend 2pac died
Man deal with all that and run a record label
Plus u dealing with crip and blood politics.

      2. Suge happy to have his life
Do U see what happen to his friend
An AK-47 shot to the side of his face in front of his eyes
U think he care about a record label
With his business partner Harry O sitting in prison for life with his wife spending his money and f******* niggaz in his house
Man Suge couldnt release those albums
Deloros Tucker was protesting against him
Interscope was telling him what he could and couldnt release
His homies from MOBB was telling him to stay true to the hood
Harry O was calling him from prison
Harry O’s lawyer was stealing money
Now deal with all this shit
Plus you got a producer whos scared to come to the studios
A iconic rapper who hasnt produced a quality record since Doggystle, and comes to u with DogFather.
Man he dont care about know of that shit, he feel u can have the westcoast. What he did and Tupac can never be done again. They can only make a movie about it.
Suge gonna continue to go to parties in LA and go home and live out the rest of his life.

    7. I love the (pause) Death Row (pause) gear. These owners are sure keeping it (pause) a 100, (pause)…. eh?

      Ha ha ha! Classic.

    8. annoymous i think he means during the 2000’s not the late 90’s. suge would have been better off releasing this unreleased material instead of the million dr. dre, snoop and 2pac compilations he’s put out during the 2000’s

    9. My fake email nixedefron@caliburindustries — it made me use my real cyber email- I’m not parade around here or there

    10. 2 Timothy is nearby genesis and like it’s symbolism it’s always already been going on —everything this and that that and that it’s that simple

    11. Anyways when I finally get to eat I mean you know I eat but before I starved literally I thank the grace of the anti-Christ and all his tag-a-Longs I lived- it will be a symbol to my flesh and the blood to my marrow and sinew -welcome hell because comfort is a solidarity of acceptance and peace and love that surpasses all understanding and mercy is that one friend that fed you their own womb or loin to allow living threw hate and concentration of the people whose whole embodiments was created from the fiery furnaces of hell and the deep dark abyss to saturate any peace with a wrong no moral deserving human can endure
