DDG and Halle Bailey have shockingly announced the end of their relationship, less than a year after welcoming their first child together.
DDG shared the news on Thursday (October 3), writing on his Instagram Stories: “Dear friends and supporters, After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.”

He concluded by saying: “As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.
“As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support. Thank you for your love and encouragement.”
Bailey has yet to publicly comment on the breakup.
The couple sparked breakup rumors earlier this year after eagle-eyed fans noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram and attended Coachella separately.

The couple share one child together, a son named Halo, who was born in December 2023.
DDG and Halo recently got into a joking argument over the baby’s future after the rapper said he wanted their child to play every sport when he grows up.
In a video posted to TikTok, DDG told a seemingly unamused Halo that he will be hanging with dad all the time when he’s older and will be signed up for every sport possible.
The baby then let out a sigh, which DDG noted was the type of behavior that makes the internet at large thinks his son is annoyed with him. At that point, he gave the baby some “space,” and the cuteness only continued from there.

DDG and Bailey largely kept their family life private during their relationship as they only revealed Halo’s face earlier this year when he was seven months old.
