D&D Records Makin

    The newly formed D&D Records, a spin off of the legendary D&D Studio, has gotten off to a good start by signing a promising new comer and established veteran. D&D has inked the highly acclaimed Jack Venom to deal as well as the legendary Craig G. The former Juice Crew member got his name freestyling and as a battle emcee. At the young age of 17 he became a Juice Crew member and rapped along side of Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap and Masta Ace on Marley Marl’s “The Symphony.”

    The 24 year old Jack Venom says he has been in this game for ten years already and his hard work has finally paid off. Venom has a style which he calls “life lyrics” that is influenced by the likes of former Craig G adversary, KRS One, Nas, Slick Rick and Brand Nubian. D&D has a distribution deal with Red Distribution, and claim to have forthcoming 12” and LPs from QNC, Afu-Ra, The D&D All Stars and aforementioned Craig-G and Jack Venom. No release dates have been given yet but we are to expect them all within the year.
