DaBaby‘s popularity with women has seemingly remained unaffected by his controversies — most recently, he had to reject a woman’s sexual advances, to her dismay.

On Sunday (June 4), after putting on a rousing show at Hot 97‘s annual Summer Jam, the “Suge” rapper was approached by a female fan who volunteered her “oral services” to the North Carolina rapper as he was leaving.

In a clip that surfaced online, the woman is seen approaching DaBaby and his entourage. She could be overheard in the video blatantly asking the rapper to “pull it out” and requesting to “suck it right now.”

While he initially seemed inclined, the rapper ultimately turned the woman down before briskly walking away. However, he did appear to say something to the woman as he made his way out.

Check out the interaction below.

Later, the woman, who apparently goes by the handle, most_hated_mara_ on Instagram, called DaBaby out on her page for denying her the opportunity to handle his package.

In a video she shared following the rejection, she captioned it, “Da baby played so hard everything he rap bout is cap cause he ain’t let me throat baby shit.”

As part of the post, she also tagged multiple blogs.

In other related news, despite seeing a huge downturn in sales and popularity since his 2021 controversy over homophobic comments made during a show, DaBaby’s new single “Shake Sumn” seems to be helping the rapper turn things around.

Last week, That Grape Juice reported that the Charlie Heat-produced song premiered on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 92 in its first week last week, and this week has jumped a full 18 spots to No. 74.

This makes for the North Carolina rapper’s highest chart position since he peaked at No. 50 with “Red Light Green Light” in the summer of 2021.

The track was released on May 5 as part of DaBaby’s Call Da Fireman EP. The track has been picking up steam on TikTok, likely leading to its current chart success.

DaBaby made headlines left and right with his polarizing decision-making on the Rolling Loud Miami stage in July 2021. In the midst of his set, Baby went on a rant prompting the raucous crowd to put their lighters in the sky, but many fans took offense to the homophobic tangent.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he said.

“Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put your cellphone light in the air. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”

He doubled down on his comments amid opportunities to walk them back in moments following the show, which only further created an issue. During an appearance on LeBron James’ series The Shop earlier this month, however, the multi-platinum rapper said he would have dealt with the situation differently if he had a chance to do it over again.
