Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021 after roughly seven years of marriage. Their relationship spawned four children the ex-couple is committed to co-parenting. But it’s been a bumpy road to get to that point.
For weeks, Kanye harassed Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson who’s currently dating his ex-wife. Ye was ultimately suspended from Instagram in March and has been eerily silent ever since. Meanwhile, Davidson and Kardashian appear to be serious, with the comedic actor apparently getting the first initials of Kardashian, Saint, North, Chicago and Psalm’s names tattooed on his neck, something fellow comedian D.L. Hughley finds disrespectful.
TMZ caught up with Hughley at the Los Angeles International Airport and asked him what he thought about the new ink. Hughley had a lot to say on the subject and basically said he wouldn’t stand for it.
“I believe it’s his body, but those are Kanye’s kids,” he said. “That would piss me off. If you put my kids on your — and I got my kids tattooed on me — but if you did that, look. They’ll always be mine. No matter what happened with that situation, they gonna always be my children.
“To me, the father’s alive, he’s a good father, he’s taking care of his kids. I don’t understand what that was all about. It’s none of my business, but if you tattoo my kids’ names on your neck, I’d have something to say about that.”

Of course, Hughley was one of several people Kanye targeted during his social media tirade earlier this year. But still, Hughley is in Ye’s corner on this subject.
“I think when you do things like that, it’s trouble,” he continued. “Listen, nobody’s telling you you can’t live your life, that’s your women, you’re having a good time. But you putting that man’s kids on your neck, that’s antagonizing. That’s out of pocket for me. If you did that to me, I would have a problem. That is problematic.
“He ain’t an absentee father. He’s a good father. That’s antagonizing. And you know the stuff that’s already gone on. You already know it’s a volatile situation. You think that’s gonna help?”

Why is he weighing in on it at all? As a tattooed person I don’t think he did it to ‘antagonize’ he did it because he loves the kids, their Mom, and is saying ‘I’m here for the long haul’. After all the crap things Kanye did, cheat, flaunt women around the world, threaten Pete, and he only got serious when Kim wouldn’t take him back. Kanye blew it on his own. IMO Pete is coming from a place of love. Kanye wanted to behead Pete. Make it make sense?
