After releasing his debut album in 2001 to critical acclaim Cormega is back in the studio to drop another gem on us. “The True Meaning” has been given a release date of May 21st and will feature production from Alchemist, Hi-Tek, J-Love and ‘Mega himself. There is no word yet as to who will be featured on the album, something tells me that Nas won’t be one of them.
Speaking of Nas, it will be interesting to see if Cormega keeps him on the track that he is featured in on Cormega’s “The Testament.” That is the album that Mega did while he was signed to Def Jam and the decided not to let it see the light of day. Bootleg copies are out there and it is an excellent album. Cormega will be releasing “The Testament” on his new label, Legal Hustle. Expect it in the last quarter of 2002.
