Coi Leray has been making quite a name for herself in Hip Hop as of late, which means she’s drawn the ire of some critics as well.
But at the Something in the Water Festival on Saturday (April 29), Benzino‘s daughter took a few minutes during her set to address said critics — and she didn’t hold back.

“People talk shit every fucking day,” she told the crowd. “Every day it’s a hater on my dick, a new bitch got my name in her mouth. Somebody got something weird.”
To her credit, though, the hot up-and-comer gave a shoutout to her team for getting her through her darkest days.
“You can’t do it without them, period,” she said. “If you a selfish bitch and you wanna be on some, ‘Imma do it myself,’ don’t be one of them.”

This isn’t the first time that Coi Leray has called out people who have caused a mess in her life.
Recently, she got into a beef with fellow hot up-and-comer Latto, over what she perceived as “body-shaming” comments.
However, during Coachella on April 23, the two women buried the proverbial hatchet.
Latto clarified she had no hard feelings toward Coi Leray and showed love to her figure.
“Aye, Coi. By the way, I love yo body, baby,” she said on stage while performing “Put It On Da Floor.”
Coi Leray caught wind of Latto’s comments and responded with a 100 emoji, before tweeting: “It was the diss record with my name on it that confused me. Much love to Latto! Appreciate the compliment.”

And Latto isn’t the only rapper showing Coi Leray some love.
Back in December, the legendary Busta Rhymes ran into the “Big Purr” rapper at a nightclub, and posted a video of the two of them partying together on Instagram.
Though they haven’t collaborated, a now-viral TikTok mashup by NYC producer DJ Saige features Coi’s new single “Players” over Busta’s classic 1997 hit “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See,” and it played as the pair danced.

Busta returned the love right back, telling the young rapper he was proud of her and hinting at more to come. “Legendary Vibes Queen. Reciprocal Love to the Max!!” Busta wrote. “Super proud of you. Now let’s show ‘em better than we can tell ‘em.”
