Chrisean Rock has landed in hot water yet again for her parenting skills, with people online calling her out for the way she handles her baby boy in public.
On Sunday (October 22), the 23-year-old hosted a number of her fans at an event for mothers and children. Some social media users, however, were upset that she brought her child along to the crowded gathering, especially because of the manner in which she was carrying him around.
“That baby just be getting tossed around like a prop,” one person commented under a post by The Neighborhood Talk sharing footage from the meet and greet. In the same spirit, another user wrote: “Whew he def gone have the strongest immune system at the daycare cause he be around everything and everybody.”
Still, not everyone saw the child’s public appearance as a negative thing. In defending the reality television star, one person said: “Y’all aways tryna figure out, why she takes him everywhere with her/he’s around so much I’M SURE ITS BECAUSE SHE FEELS SHE WANTS TO PROTECT HIM AT ALL TIMES. I commend her for this.”
Similarly, another added: “I see a mom doing the best she can to the best of her abilities.”

Last month, Rock sparked outrage on social media after a video of her in a Walmart went viral. In it, she could be seen with her newborn son strapped to a baby carrier on her chest in an unsettling position.
His head was seen tilted back at an awkward angle as his mother, who held her dog’s leash in one hand and seemingly let the other hang free by her side, stood waiting to be served at the retail giant. Typically, newborns must have their neck supported due to not having developed neck muscles to hold their head up.
Soon after the footage blew up, she responded to the backlash and explained that most mothers don’t get it right the first time.
“Instead of that lady recording me, she could have just helped me,” she said in a late-September social media video. “I got a dog, and two carts full of shit I need for my house. And I’m callin’ my baby daddy. Is he helpin’? No. So I don’t know why he’s chiming in, either.”
She continued: “This mommy shit is cool, but man, your mind is racing 36, 8 hours a day. I don’t know. Everything is just overwhelming. I’m still learning. I love my baby. He’s a good baby. I’ma tighten up. Straight up. Everybody makes mistakes.”
Rock welcomed her first child with Blueface in early September, livestreaming the birth on Instagram Live while she was surrounded by friends and family.
The baby is where it should be, in its moms arms. Fuck these social media people. They dont deserve for their opinions to become a story.
