Chris Brown is being sued by a super-fan for what she says is invasion of privacy and false light – days after a social media post where she thanked him for the “hidden signs” that show he’s in love with her.
In Touch obtained the suit filed by Angela Reliford on Thursday (April 24), where she claims she’s suffered significant reputational damage and emotional distress after Chris reposted a video of her threatening his dancers. The clip was pulled from her social media, but was edited to play ominous music as she talked and labeled her a stalker in a text overlay.
Reliford – who filed her suit without a lawyer – wrote that Chris shared a misleading video to over 145 million followers, which had “false captions suggesting that [she] had intended harm to Chris and his dancers.”
The suit continued: “[Chris] directly reposted the edited video to his social media platform, broadcasting it to millions of followers without verifying its authenticity or considering the damage it could cause. [This] placed [her] in a false light, portraying her as dangerous and unstable, thereby misrepresenting her character.”

She is demanding unspecified damages for the alleged harm to her reputation. Chris has yet to respond.

Soon after the video made its rounds on social media, fans flooded Karrueche’s comments, writing things like, “Girl go get our man back!” and, “Take him back it’s ok.”
But despite that, TMZ confirms they will not be getting back together. However, a source close to the pair also noted there’s no bad blood either, so they’re never above saying hi when they see each other.
