Chris Brown has shared his side of the story after being involved in a verbal altercation backstage at the Lovers & Friends festival this past weekend.

The incident reportedly took place during Missy Elliott’s set at the Las Vegas festival on Saturday (May 6), with footage showing the R&B star repeatedly getting in the face of several men who appear to be bodyguards as his crew attempts to hold him back.

Brown, looking visibly angered, repeatedly screams, “I got it!” and can be seen trying to shove the other men again and again, but to no avail.

After the video made the rounds online, Breezy took to Instagram the following day to provide context to the confrontation, claiming he was merely helping security clear the backstage area and protect his child who was with him.

“Yall been geeked all weekend , y’all dragging it now. It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage,” he wrote in a comment on NoirOnlineOrg‘s Instagram page.

“People started pushing back.. I INTERVENED To let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative.”

That wasn’t the only incident Chris Brown was reportedly involved in this past weekend. On Friday (May 5), the 34-year-old and his crew allegedly jumped Usher at Brown’s birthday party at a skate rink in Vegas.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, the R&B singers got into a heated argument after Breezy “started to yell” at Teyana Taylor, who was also in attendance and had apparently ignored him.

Footage obtained by TMZ showed Usher attempting to calm Brown down while he walked away from Taylor, seemingly pissed off and shouting expletives in her direction.

Brown then reportedly directed his anger at Usher, calling him a “coward” before leaving the rink. Usher is said to have followed CB outside, where he was “jumped” by the Indigo singer and his entourage, coming away with a “bloodied nose.”

A video posted on Usher’s Instagram Stories the following day, however, cast doubt on those reports as he was seen with no visible facial injuries and in good spirits wile preparing for his performance at Lovers & Friends that night.

Chris Brown also took the stage at the festival on Saturday just hours before Usher’s headlining set, and appeared to be in great spirits as well.

While the news of their alleged altercation quickly went viral, neither Usher, Chris Brown nor Teyana Taylor have confirmed that a fight took place, nor has any such incident been reported to the police as of press time.
