Chief Keef is a wanted man after missing a court hearing earlier this week in California stemming from his driving under the influence arrest in June 2021.

According to TMZ, a California judge has issued a $10,000 bench warrant for Chief Keef (born Keith Cozart) for failing to show up to court on Wednesday (November 2).

There was already an outstanding warrant in the case when Sosa was pulled over for a routine traffic stop in October where cops ran his license plates and picked up on the DUI arrest. He was booked for driving with a suspended license and released without bail.

This is far from Chief Keef’s first run-in with the law as he’s compiled past cases with charges that include aggravated assault, probation violations, driving under the influence of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia possession.

On the music side of things, the Chicago drill pioneer is slated to unleash his Almighty So 2 album on December 16. The project features a pair of previously-released singles, “Tony Montana Flow” and “Racks Stuffed Inna Couch.” Keef was spotted in the studio with Juelz Santana in September, which could possibly mean they collide for their first collaboration on the project.

“I can’t feel my face, stupid ass,” Chief Keef said in an homage to Juelz.

Back in July, Juelz Santana took to his Instagram to declare Chief Keef “the G.O.A.T.” for being a trailblazer for drill music around the globe.

Santana posted a photo listening to Keef’s acclaimed 2012 Finally Rich album with the caption: “THE DRILL [goat emojis] @chieffkeeffsossa… GIVE HIM HIS FLOWERS… LIKE IT OR NOT BOY CHANGED DA GAME…”

While Juelz gave Sosa his flowers, Charlamagne Tha God stopped short of including Chief Keef in his Mount Rushmore of influential rappers.

“I’m not going to say the order number, but there’s four: Kanye [West], JAY-Z, [2]Pac and [Lil’] Wayne,” Charlagmagne said. “The four most influential rappers of all time.”

One of the hosts asked about Chief Keef, and the radio Hall of Famer replied: “No, you know why I don’t put Chief Keef in there? Because Chief Keef didn’t influence the world, he influenced a sound of a region. Those four people I named literally influenced people all over the world.”
