Charlamagne Tha God sees nuance in the recent accusations against Diddy — while he supports the alleged victims, he has also expressed his disappointment in watching the Hip Hop veteran’s legacy crumble.

The radio host addressed the matter during a new episode of his Brilliant Idiots podcast with Andrew Schulz that was published on Saturday (March 30).

“This is a fucking raid,” he said as he watched footage of federal agents taking over Diddy’s homes across the country. “I don’t know, man, I just don’t like it. I don’t like it because it’s sad. How many peoples’ legacies have we watched burn to the ground? From Russell Simmons, Diddy …”

In response, the comedian noted that it’s good for legacies to diminish if people do bad things, which Char agreed with but added: “It’s just one emotion? Y’all all lying to yourselves if you say, ‘Yeah good for them, fuck them!’ These guys fucking provided the soundtrack to our lives. They contributed to the culture in real ways before we knew any of this shit … You have feelings, you have mixed emotions.”

Schulz sees things a bit differently as he made light of the situation during a recent stand-up routine in Los Angeles, California.

“LA, I got tired of the media trying to smear this great city,” he told the audience. “They’re saying you’re a bunch of fucking criminals, drug addicts and pedophiles. That is not the whole city — that is a very small specific section of the city that is called Diddy’s house.

“This is the only reason I think he might be guilty. Every celebrity in LA has had their home robbed … except Diddy. And I thought about it … it’s like bro, robbing Diddy is terrifying because what if he’s there? You break down the door, he’s butt naked on the couch, Meek Mill is sitting on his lap — just petting him like a Maltese cat.”

Meek Mill crying, ‘Oh no wait a minute! I thought you was finished;’ Diddy’s like, ‘Can’t stop, won’t stop,’” the New York City native added. “You try to run out — the door is locked. You turn around and all of a sudden you hear, [rapping] ‘You ain’t going nowhere. You ain’t going nowhere. I can’t be stopped now. It’s your asshole tonight.’”

The above passage references songs by the artists in question, namely “Dreams and Nightmares” by Meek Mill, “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” by The LOX featuring Diddy and “Bad Boy For Life” by Black Rob, Mark Curry and Diddy.

50 Cent, who has been trolling Diddy non-stop since the allegations broke, seemed to enjoy the bit as he shared the clip to his Instagram page with the caption: “You said I chose violence, HE CHOSE VIOLENCE LOL @andrewschulz bro WTF”
