Chamillionaire Urges Fellow Rappers To Become Tech-Savy

Business Insider reports that Chamillionaire had some harsh words for other emcees regarding their alleged technological ignorance when he spoke at the recent TechCrunch Disrupt conference. “The biggest tech thing rappers know is Napster,” said the platinum Houston rapper.

Kooba went on to say that other Hip Hop artists should engage more with the online world and learn how to make technology work for them. Chamillionaire explained his appearance at the tech conference was a way to stay in touch with the future of music. He stated, “If my ship is about to sink, I need my lifeline ahead of time. The artists, they don’t know.”

Chamillionaire’s third full length, Venom, is still awaiting release after being delayed several times.

    1. Kooba? Does this site even have copy-editors? Or anyone with any general knowledge of journalistic Hip-Hop?

    2. Holy shit!! I have never seen a website w/ this many spelling errors..everytime i’m like they can’t do it again and ya’ll do…”Kooba says that “……..it’s Koopa….as the others said…

    3. Damn, I’ve come to realise that this site is just horrible in news coverage. Just worthless news like tweets of people, radio statements etc. Plus how can you say Chamillionaire was saying ‘harsh things’ to other rappers? The Napster thing isn’t ‘harsh’. It’s not like he dissed them. He only says he’s ‘going left’ while other’s are ‘going right’… I tell you, there’s gotta be some dumbass people working here. I’m going to find another site that’s way better at bringing real and useful hip hop news.
