Casino Jizzle was among the top prospects from Tennessee‘s Hip Hop scene, but he was tragically killed before his big break.
On Tuesday (July 4), the up-and-coming rapper (real name Robert Tunstall) was fatally shot in northeast Memphis, as confirmed by his manager (via WREG). He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His baby mother, Brianna Hollins, took to Facebook on Wednesday (July 5) to pay tribute to Jizzle, writing: I’m LOSTED WITHOUT U SWEAR TO GOD !! I know it was me OVER ANYBODY so ima let the internet troll cause yeen even Fw mfas who even posting ..
“I knew everythinggggggg & saw . MFA KNEW YOU LOVED NUNU TIL DEATH OVER WHOEVER !!!!!! I NEED YOU BAD !!!!! COME HOME.”
The 27-year-old artist was gearing up to the release of his new album, DUH, this coming Friday (July 7). He was unsigned at the time of his passing.
Memphis Police haven’t yet officially identified the perpetrator, but, according to local CBS affiliate WREG, they have issued a warrant for 27-year-old Michael Clayton, who is being charged with First Degree Murder.
In 2019, Casino Jizzle was involved in another shooting that left him critically injured. The incident took place outside a Chuck E. Cheese in Cordova, Tennessee.
The rising rapper and his music were just starting to gain traction. He has over 10 million streams on Apple Music, over 46 million views on YouTube and over 67,000 followers on Instagram.
