Casanova has shared an update from behind bars on his birthday and, if the photo is any indication of his health, he’s thriving.

On Friday (October 27),  Casanova (real name Caswell Senior) took to Instagram, where he delivered a snap in which he flexed his guns for his followers. “Bomfortable [red balloon emoji],” the caption reads.

The picture came out on the Brooklyn native’s 37th birthday, and fans and peers were quick to send good vibes his way. “RRRRRR Happy Birthday King [crown emoji],” wrote British rapper and songwriter Giggs.

“Happy Birthday!!!” Maino exclaimed in the comments section. “Happy Birthday! Family Always,” added Karen Civil.

This past June, Casanova was sentenced to 15 years behind bars by U.S. District Judge Philip M. Halpern. The rapper had previously pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to conduct and participate in the conduct of the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity [the enterprise in question was the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods Gang]; and one count of conspiring to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana.

“Caswell Senior is not just a notorious recording artist, but he is also a high-profile leader of a vicious street gang and a magnet for gang violence,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a press release. “At a crowded Miami house party, Senior personally fired a gun that seriously injured and could have killed a victim, inciting a shootout.”

He continued: “Further, Senior’s stature in the community was central to Gorilla Stone’s successful recruitment and nationwide expansion. Today’s sentencing — along with the other significant sentences that have been imposed in this case — shows once again that gang life is not worth it and will lead to many years in prison.”

Meanwhile, his girlfriend Swaggy Jazzy made it a point to publicly declare her loyalty to Cas following the news.
