Cardi B Confirms Offset Split After Chrisean Rock Drama: 'I've Been Single For A Minute'

Cardi B has confirmed that she’s currently single after splitting from her husband Offset.

The Bronx rap star made the bombshell revelation on Instagram Live early Monday (December 11), shortly after Offset was accused by Blueface of sleeping with Chrisean Rock — allegations the Migos rapper quickly denied.

Cardi said she doesn’t believe the claims that her husband slept with the reality star a month ago, but is taking the speculation “as a sign” that it’s time for her to move on, which she’s “excited” about.

“I’ve been single for a minute now,” she began. “I know today has been an eventful day. I don’t pay mind to none of that. I don’t care about none of that. I don’t know if y’all been getting clues from me from my Lives, from my Stories, when I put certain music [up] or from my unfollowings.

“When it comes to today’s events, I don’t think it’s true. I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now. I have been afraid to — not afraid — I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign.”

She continued: “The last time I got on Live, I kinda wanted to tell you guys, but I didn’t know how to tell you so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now.

“I want to start 2024 fresh, open. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited! New look, new life, new everything […] I’ve been going so hard for 2024 to go directly as I want it to. I feel like in 2017 I was single, and that’s when I worked the hardest.”

Offset has yet to address Cardi’s comments, but he did like a repost of her P.S.A. on The Neighborhood Talk‘s Instagram.

Cardi B has been hinting at breaking up with Offset with recent social media posts, including some earlier this month in which she alluded to being single.

“You know when you just out grow relationships,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”

Cardi B and Offset have two children together, daughter Kulture and son Wave. They tied the knot in 2017 and briefly split the following year amid rumors that Offset had cheated on Cardi.

After getting back together, Cardi later filed for divorce in 2020 when their relationship hit another rocky patchy, but she quickly called off the filing and gave the Migos rapper another chance.

More cheating rumors cropped up earlier this year when Offset alleged that Cardi had slept with another man.
