Cardi B has found a new management home as she’s inked a deal with industry titans Irving and Jeffrey Azoff’s Full Stop Management.

According to Billboard and confirmed by Variety, Cardi recently joined the Full Stop powerhouse with Giant Music president Shawn Holiday playing an integral role in the Grammy-winning rapper making the jump.

“It’s been a long time,” Holiday noted of the years since Cardi’s acclaimed 2018 Invasion of Privacy album that feels like it arrived a lifetime ago. He even teased that The Bronx native’s long-awaited sophomore LP is on the calendar for “early 2023” via Atlantic Records.

Cardi B was previously tied to Quality Control after joining their Solid Foundation management branch in 2018. However, in 2020 she stated she was not contractually tied to any management firm and was a free agent as her lawyer handled her business.

In the early part of her career, Cardi had been signed under Klenord “Shaft” Raphael’s KSR Group, but that management relationship soured by 2018.

Raphael sued the “Bodak Yellow” rapper for $10 million and Cardi countersued for $30 million, claiming Shaft was “self-serving and controlling.” The two parties reportedly ended up settling in 2020.

Thanks to her high-powered legal team, Cardi B has had success in the courtroom. She won another lawsuit in October related to the photo used on her Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1 mixtape cover, which a man claimed was used without his permission.

Kevin Brophy was seeking $5 million in damages for not only the unauthorized use of the photo, but the embarrassment he claims the “raunchy” image caused. However, a grand jury threw out his accusations and the case was dismissed.

Earlier this week, Cardi added to her collection of tattoos as she showed off some new ink inscribed in red on her cheek dedicated to her one-year-old son, Wave.
