Cardi B has received a response from Brian Szasz, the billionaire’s stepson she called out for attending a Blink-182 concert while his father is missing aboard the lost Titanic Submersible.

Earlier this week, the rapper issued a video response to Szasz, who defended his decision to go to the San Diego concert despite the fact his stepfather, Hamish Harding, is one of the five missing people aboard the submersible, saying his family would have wanted him to enjoy himself.

“Isn’t it sad you’re a whole fucking billionaire and nobody gives a fuck about you?” she said in part of her message. “Like you’re missing and muthafuckas is ready to shake dicks at concerts. That’s crazy, I’d rather be broke and poor but knowing that I’m loved.”

Unimpressed by Cardi B’s dressing down of his actions, Szasz fired back in his own video response, accusing the Bronx rapper of being a clout chaser while also telling her to “grow up.”

“So you take a complete bitch like Cardi B [who] has no idea what’s going on, her career is in such turmoil that she needs clout off other people’s suffering,” he began. “And she’s like [mocking the rapper’s voice], ‘Ah, he won’t go help, blah, blah, blah. He goes to a rock concert, this and that.’

“[She] tries to use the situation to exploit, like the news. They’re not feeling sorry for my mom who has to take care of two kids, not really giving a fuck that my stepdad’s probably 99 percent chance he’s dead. That doesn’t matter. Doesn’t care how we feel, just trying to fucking make gains.”

He added: “People, like, trolling, getting hate mail, all these things. It’s just fucked up. And to have Cardi B behind it… Cardi B, fucking grow up, get some class. You’re tasteless.”

Elsewhere in the video, Szasz defends his decision to go to the Blink-182 concert amidst the harrowing drama involving his stepfather, claiming that he wasn’t having “super fun” or “celebrating having a great time.” According to the 37-year-old, he just stood at the concert “nodding” his head to some of his “all-time favorite songs.”

He also claimed he only has $100 to his name and has a “legal situation” which prevents him from getting on a flight to be closer to the situation. He also added that he doesn’t currently hold a passport.

Speaking on the situation involving his stepfather, Szasz said is was “a fucking nightmare” and “fucking God awful,” adding that he hasn’t “slept in days” but that it’s not about him, he’s more worried about his mother.

“So I’m not, like, rocking out, or whatever they’re trying to accuse me of doing,” he added. “But it just makes the situation that much worse to have outside forces, they’re using their power for complete fucking evil.”

Tour firm OceanGate and the U.S. and Canadian Coast Guards confirmed on Tuesday (June 20) that a search and rescue operation for the missing vessel began on June 19. The submarine had lost contact with the Coast Guard approximately one hour and 45 minutes into its journey to the Titanic wreck site, which is located at the Atlantic Ocean’s sea bed, 3,800 meters below sea level.

As the search continues, details have emerged about the construction of the submersible, which is called the Titan, including that it’s being piloted by a slightly modified Logitech G F710 Wireless Gamepad.

As of writing, the five people lost in the submersible may have just a few hours of oxygen remaining, according to BBC News, creating a race against time to find the sub before it is too late.

Meanwhile, in other Cardi B news, the rapper’s mixtape cover art accuser recently agreed to pay her $350,000 legal bill after he failed to convince a jury to side against the Bronx star.

The lawsuit, which Cardi ultimately won, was related to the cover of her 2016 mixtape Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1, in which body art model Kevin Brophy Jr. claimed Cardi used his back tattoo and likeness without his permission.

Brophy had originally sued Cardi for $5million, but the jury ultimately sided with the Bronx rap star. Brophy then filed to overturn the verdict, but on December 28, U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney ruled that the request came too late and lacked merit.

Brophy then filed for a new trial according to docs obtained byBillboard and said he wanted another chance to convince a jury that Cardi B “humiliated” him with the cover, claiming Cardi committed “misconduct” during her time on the witness stand. District Judge Cormac J. Carney stood firm and demanded Brophy begin paying Cardi’s legal fees despite this filing.
