Cardi B has always been about her money — even when it comes to collaborators who work with her so-called “ops.”
In an interview with the Spout Podcast which aired last month but went viral on Monday (October 9), the “Bodak Yellow” rapper revealed that she doesn’t demand unwavering loyalty from those who wish to collaborate with her — but she does ask for people to keep it real.

“If I like you, and I meet you, and we do a song, I don’t expect you to, like, pick a side or anything,” she said. “You could work with whoever you want to work with. Because at the end of the day, this is a business, and you gotta look out for yourself, always.”
She continued: “Just don’t shit on me. And don’t show me that you’re a fake bitch. That’ll be breakin’ my heart. And when I see you, I’ma let you know. And when I have to express myself, I’ll express myself.”

When it comes to expressing herself, few — if any — can do it quite like Cardi, as she demonstrated last week when she threatened to air out her “haters.”
The Bronx rapper took to Instagram Live earlier this month and issued a stern warning to her “haters,” saying she will unleash devastating “receipts” if they keep messing with her.
“I will fucking bring this internet into fucking shambles, bitch,” Cardi said. “I been trying not to disappoint my fans because I’ve been trying to be Cardi B, the professional. But Belcalis [her real name], the demon, it be really close to come out. And I don’t want that because I don’t want to disappoint my fans.
“I’ma just say this: people love Cinderella ’til Cinderella get a glass house. To my haters and to y’all muthafuckas that want to see mess, leave me the fuck alone. Because I come with receipts. I come with receipts, years-old receipts.”
