“I am so sad to share this news but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I wont be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all.”

Cardi was tapped as one of the headliners the festival, which takes place on Saturday (October 26) and Sunday (October 27) at Atlanta’s Central Park.

Attendees can still expect performances from Gunna, Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Nelly, Victoria Monét and more.

Cardi B has dealt with numerous health problems of late, nearly suffering a miscarriage when she was heavily pregnant with her third child.

Talking on X Spaces in August, the 32-year-old revealed she was admitted to hospital after suffering a “freak accident.”

“I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little. I practically fell, but I was trying to prevent myself from falling, so I was holding myself on the railing. My foot still slipped and I kind of busted my ass,” she said.

She added: “I felt a weird jerk, like a pop, and I couldn’t get up really. I noticed that I couldn’t really walk, like I was feeling pain in my, I don’t know, in the lower of my stomach.”

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker said she then took a nap but when she woke up, “I couldn’t move my bottom at all. Just moving my feet was hurting the bottom of my stomach. I couldn’t move. I felt like paralyzed.”

After phoning for an ambulance, Cardi said she “tore a ligament in my pelvis and it’s right where my baby’s head is at.”

“I dilated and I was having contractions for every two minutes for a whole 24 hours. So they had to monitor me and I was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t move for two days straight.”

Cardi had previously said that the pain from the accident was so severe that she needed morphine.
