Simply titled Warriors, the album is described as “an immersive listening experience that follows a fictitious New York City gang from Coney Island to the Bronx and back when they are framed for the murder of a respected gang leader, Cyrus.” It drops October 18.

Miranda and Davis said in a statement earlier this month: “We’ve spent the past three years musicalizing the Warriors’ journey home, from the South Bronx to Coney Island. Along the way we’ve gotten to work with a lot of our favorite artists, and we’ll be announcing their roles on the album in the weeks ahead.

Miranda and Nas previously collaborated on The Hamilton Mixtape, with the Queensbridge legend appearing on “Wrote My Way Out” along with his Mass Appeal signee Dave East as well as Aloe Blacc.

As for Cam’ron, though he’s paying homage to his New York City roots with the new role on Miranda’s project, he actually moved out of the Big Apple recently and has no plans to return.
