Cam’ron has gotten into a war of words with basketball player LiAngelo Ball after slandering his career.

In recent days, Killa Cam has mocked Ball for playing overseas and not being good enough to make it in the NBA like his brothers Lonzo and LaMelo.

Speaking on his sports talk show It Is What It Is, the Harlem native imagined Gelo’s brothers telling him: “We tried, we did everything we could. We gotta tryout in China for you, that’s all we got” before declaring: “He ain’t NBA good.”

LiAngelo, who has had stints in the NBA’s development league and Summer League and last played professionally in Mexico, quickly hit back on his own podcast What an Experience, which he co-hosts with his brother Lonzo and friends DMO and Anthony Salazar.

‘Suck It Or Not’ with Lil Wayne, that’s all I remember from you,” he said while addressing Cam. “You don’t know my story like that. To say, ‘Oh, he got a tryout in China,’ you don’t know what I did in the G League, boy. I’m out here hooping.”

Cam’ron returned fire on a follow-up episode of It Is What It Is, saying: “I only know you ’cause your father’s a great marketer, n-gga. I wouldn’t know you if it wasn’t for LaVar Ball.”

He also referenced LiAngelo getting arrested in China for alleged shoplifting: “[LaVar] had two sons that he was right about. Gelo, I ain’t got no problem with you, I just gotta call it like I see it. You’re lucky Trump was in China ’cause they might have cut your fingers off over stealing those sunglasses, n-gga.”

LiAngelo has since hit back in a video posted online in which he dismissed the Dipset legend’s rap career.

“Elder folks like to say a whole lot of nothing sometimes. I ain’t really got no problem with him. Cam’ron can hate me, I’ll wake up the same tomorrow. I’m really not tripping on none of that. At the end of the day, I’m good. Bro putting words in my mouth,” he said.

“I ain’t say ‘Suck It or Not’ the only song I heard or whatnot — that’s just the song that came to my mind. But anyways, since you wanna talk about all the rap shit and I’m not good and I’m not this and I’m not that, I’ve never talked to someone and you’ve been in [their] top five, top 10, bro. I’ve never heard your name in no rap convo.”

The 25-year-old then compared their respective career trajectories: “We in the same boat, n-gga. I didn’t make the league and you ain’t in no top 10s. Y’all talking like Cam’ron the messiah … I grew up listening to 50 Cent and DMX, I don’t care if Cam’ron don’t like me.

“I don’t listen to no Cam’ron music. I don’t know you, bruh. I’m 25; you 50. You might not know my name now that I think about it!”
