Cam’ron has called out Cardi B for “snitching” on him while explaining some of the lyrics on her latest song “Like What (Freestyle).”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper threw some shots at fashion house Coach on the Missy Elliott-sampling track, which arrived last week alongside a raunchy video directed by her husband Offset.

She dissed the label’s bags with the line: “Classy and a cunt/ Blocks and money getting spunt/ Like, like what?/ Like a Coach bag, baby, this ain’t what you want.”
In a video following the song’s release, Cardi explained that the line was inspired by Cam’ron’s similar diss on his 2011 track “Hey Muma” with Vado, but the Dipset legend isn’t happy about her mentioning his name.

He wrote on Instagram on Monday (March 4): “Yo @iamcardib this ain’t ‘BardiB’ stand on them bars!! I followed you 10yrs ago cause u ain’t give a fuck!! Now you copping a plea!! Lol.
“How u ‘ain’t on no rich shit’ and you RICH? Fuck them people. U earned the right to wear what the fuck you want. I miss high bridge Cardi. Now u snitching on me 13yrs later? Glad we ain’t do no crime together.”
Cam closed out his apparent rant by making it obvious that he was only half joking: “J/k (a lil bit) love u sis.”
Coach also caught wind of the disparaging lyric as the fashion house’s X account wrote: “We love Cardi!!”
Cardi B replied by saying: “love ya.”

In her explanation of the line, Cardi said: “In 2011, everybody started getting rid of their Coach shit. Honest truth, it was really because of Cam’ron.”
She then played a snippet of “Hey Muma” where Cam raps: “Yo, girl, get a notepad/ You ain’t got no swag/ And you so fine, it’s so sad/ Still riding coach, need a Coach bag/ Let me coach you, no coach tags/ Get rid of that Coach bag.”
Cardi then added: “When I was doing this song, that’s what I was thinking about. It’s like, ‘Bitch, do you want that or do you want this? You want a Chanel or you want this bag?’
“Now everybody’s jumping me. I’m not trying to be on some rich shit and everything. This is just a real New York shit. I ain’t trying to offend none of y’all. I’ma buy me a Coach bag tomorrow, you hear me?”
