After delaying his album a few times, Busta Rhymes says his 5th album will be out by the end of the month. “Genesis” is scheduled to drop on November 27, the album features an impressive list of producers that includes Dr. Dre, The Neptunes, Mel-Man, Pete Rock, Just Blaze, and Redman. Featured guests on the album the Flipmode Squad, Mary J Blige, Jill Scott, Butch Cassidy, Kokane, and Sisqo.
In reference to the albums constant delays, Busta told MTV News that he wanted the project just right. “Number one, I like to record albums to the final, final crunch time pressure, last mile second,” Busta told MTV News. “Second, what ended up happening was a lot of people that I was trying to work with eventually started coming through in the 11th hour. It just made sense not to sell myself short and [to] seize the moment.”
