Busta Rhymes rocked a thick Cuban link chain while performing at Usher’s Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas over the weekend which caught the eye of Jim Jones.

The footage found its way into Busta’s photo dump recapping a jam-packed weekend in Sin City that he posted on Monday (May 8) to his Instagram.

Jimmy couldn’t believe the size of the massive chain dangling around Bus-a-Bus’ neck filled with plenty of diamonds. “That [chain] is fucking retarded,” the Dipset rapper joked. “That shit look bigger in the daytime ya heard? That shit look like it’s growing.”

It’s been a busy and memorable last week for Busta, who came back to New York as a surprise guest at Janet Jackson’s Madison Square Garden show on Tuesday (May 9), where they performed their 1998 joint hit “What’s It Gonna Be?!” together for the very first time.

“We’re going to give you your flowers…. Your botanical garden while you can smell them,” Busta Rhymes said onstage as someone rolled out a huge bouquet of flowers. “In 1998, 25 years ago, I’m on the Belt Parkway going from Long Island to Manhattan, I’m listening to Janet Jackson do an interview with Angie Martinez when she was on Hot 97.

“Janet Jackson was doing an interview promoting the Velvet Rope album. Angie Martinez asked her what rapper have you never worked with before that you would like to work with. She said Busta Rhymes. Excuse my language but I almost crashed my fucking car.”

He added: “To this day, our video is the most expensive Hip Hop video made in the history of Hip Hop culture.”
