Busta Rhymes has upset a few fans after canceling his forthcoming Blockbusta Tour just days before it was set to begin.
According to a USA Today article from Tuesday (March 5), all shows listed on Ticketmaster were officially labeled “canceled” on the site.

The tour was set to kick off on March 13 in San Francisco and conclude over a month later in Busta’s hometown of Brooklyn on April 21.
HipHopDX has reached out to Busta Rhymes’ representatives but have not heard back as of publication.

A number of fans took to social media to air out their frustrations with the cancelation, with one writing: “Damn Busta Rhymes wtf why’d you cancel your tour I was gonna take my mama to that for her birthday.”
“Busta Rhymes cancels all 2024 Blockbusta tour dates a week before kickoff. I guess he didn’t think the nonsense would catch up to him. I guess he thought wrong,” another person wrote, while a third said: “Am i the first person on the planet to realise #BLOCKBUSTAtour has had dates cancelled was coming to NYC to watch busta rhymes loaded ticketmaster and Pow ,This just one of many.”

The “Break Ya Neck” rapper made headlines last month when he was caught on camera arguing with another attendee at French Montana‘s album release party for Mac & Cheese 5 in New York City.
The fracas apparently took place at Harbor NYC in midtown Manhattan. In footage shared by The Shade Room, Busta appeared to get in the face of an aspiring rapper from Staten Island named Nizzle Man.

Nizzle appeared to fall down the stairs, and Busta Rhymes seemed to grab his wrist to confront him about something. They talk back and forth in the footage in a way that didn’t look friendly, and it isn’t long before a pack of security guards step between the two men and escort Nizzle Man out of the club.
Some commenters on the post suggested that it didn’t appear that Busta and Nizzle were fighting. Rather, it appeared to them that the elder statesman of rap was trying to de-escalate the situation, and had Nizzle Man escorted out before things got violent with whomever he may have been beefing with.
Earlier in February, the East Flatbush legend shared his respect for 50 Cent following his inclusion on the “In Da Club” rapper’s Final Lap Tour. Busta said 50’s work was incomparable to any other.
Busta Rhymes stopped to chat with popular radio host Big Boy, where he showed Fif some love for a variety of reasons.

“Big up to 50 Cent for bringin’ us out there on his Final Lap tour,” he said. “Not only was that probably the most incredible tour that I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been on many. I’m saying that because every night, every arena was sold out.”
